HAI DA! I HAVENT UPDATED YOU IN SO LONG SO LET ME JUST TYPE IN SOME WORDS AND CALL THIS AN ENTRY OK?? OK.
So... The Fall '09 semester at SFSU has finally ended last week, and thank god too! This semester was a killer.. Oh and I finally made my decision about transferring to
in the last two-three weeks. They gave me a packet to work on that consisted of 10 fashion design sketches, 3 letter of recommendations, sending in high school and college official transcripts, etc.. I had my Admissions Interview on Monday, and...
Joe gave me the idea of putting together a cosplay "book" for my interview for the sake of showing off my sewing "skill level." And I think that helped pushed my interview to a great success.
Saturday, December 19th was
BABY, the Stars Shine Brights first annual holiday Tea Party! Invitations were limited, but I was very happy to attend! Of course, lolitas were only allowed to wear BTSSB items, and we were told to meet everyone at the "meeting place" which was located at Aquatic Park. I normally take the street car to head over in that direction, but I ended up driving to Union Square, parked my car in the Metreon garage, and fetched a cab at the Mariott hotel in my lolita attire because I was cool like that! >:3

$100 CHARGE FOR VOMITING IN THE TAXI! (seriously)
The cab driver drove me to the meeting location without a problem, and I finally got to meet up with everyone, and waited on a few other lolitas to arrive!

I loved Jessie's antlers.

Jen's coordinate was probably my favorite one from the tea party. I really love that fur scarf adorned with the red velvet bow!

Christina and I are twining! All items in my coordinate are from BTSSB:
+ Friend Usakumya "Judy" Jumper skirt (black)
+ Baby doll heart blouse (pink)
+ Usakumya headdress (pink)
+ Usakumya over-knee socks (black)
+ Pink crown bag
+ BTSSB emblem ring (pink)
+ Enamel Twinkle shoes (pink)
I'm very much into sweet and classic lolita. I'm slowly trying to get into gothic lolita. Do any of you guys have a favorite lolita style?

Most of our group. A few others arrived late before this shot was taken. There was this street photographer lady that was very pushy and "arranged" us very weirdly for some of our shots that will be posted on her website soon. All I can say is, those shots better be damn good! She was actually very rude to most of us, and I felt uncomfortable posing for her. =/
Oh, and we had a creeper walk up to us as this shot was being taken and blurted something like, "I want one of you girls for my house. You don't have to cook or anything, just run it." LOL WTF? I was so ready to kick his ass.

From the looks of him, he looks like a homeless weirdo. So did he want us to clean his
imaginary house box??! LOL
Idealia and
Danny Twining! Danny's wig is too cute!
As it finally hit 3:30pm, it was time for us to arrive at the secret location for the tea party which was revealed to be at
Crown and Crumpet. One of the workers said that the Tea Room was not ready for us yet, so we did some browsing around their store.

Cute trees!
The whole store itself really fit BTSSB's theme of "Winter Forest Friends!"

Alice pins!

About 10 minutes later, the shop owner of Crown and Crumpet came by, and escorted us to the Tea Room! She was super nice!

Angelica talking with the shop owner about activities and arrangements.

Sweets!

Table shot! Sorry if you got cut off! .___.

Cute art!

Delicious tea sandwiches, cookies, crumpets, and various sweets and teas were served to us by Alice!

TEA WAS DERICIOUS!
After having our fill of tea and snacks, the activities of jyanken for points, raffle, awards for best themed outfits, and white elephant gift exchange was held. I voted for Jen for having the best themed outfit due to the foresty fur looking scarf. I'm so glad she won!

Playing Jyanken.

I ended up winning a Milk-chan purse, and a BTSSB red ribbon and pearl necklace from the raffle. I also got a BTSSB Princess drop necklace from my goddie bag/Christmas stocking.

As the event was drawing near, we all packed up and started to head out. Then I noticed that Kim and Juvy were also wearing Friend Usakumya prints, and decided to have a pic taken. LOL sorry for crappy cell phone pic. Camera died all of a sudden. D=
Gifts & Off to Panama!
My family and I decided to celebrate Christmas a littler early since we will be traveling to Panama City, Panama on Wednesday 12/23rd. Got some pretty sweet looking gifts!

Sephora: TEMPTU AIRbrush Makeup System.

QuietComfort® 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® headphones. I already tried them on, and LOVE IT! Perfect for my travel at 3:00 am tomorrow. Noise canceling = NOT HAVING TO HEAR SCREAMING ASS KIDS ON THE PLANE. >____<

lol White tiger throw blanket given to me by my sister. Before PETA jumps my ass for this, no it's not real.

Not a gift from my family, but it was my Cyperous wig order and it arrived in the mail today, so it's a small Christmas gift to myself I guess? LOL I really love the fibers. So soft!

Can you guys guess what this wig will be used for? (Character not listed in my 2010 cosplay deviation. SECRET!!) One or two people know about it though! =X
Annnnnd... that's it! I'll try and make some daily reports from Panama, if not, some super condensed posts! We'll be back on January 2nd in time to plan for another possible 2 week vacation! I now leave you with a year old photo of myself molesting my Donne Anonime/Miss Nobody Daikamura. Toodle-loo!

Where did you get your English Flag belt in you DevArt ID photo? I need it soooo much!
XD
Other than that HELLO!
--
Como se Ninja WHAT?!?!?!
I actually bought my belt in a store called Sex Pot Revenge during my Japan trip. However, I did see another belt that looks EXACTLY (vintage look, and everything) like the one in my ID pic at Urban Outfitters on Powell St. in San Francisco. It's located in the men's section. Happy hunting!
